POSITION TITLE:              Senior Accounting Specialist

LOCATION:                         Madisonville, KY

REPORTS TO:                     Plant Controller

BASIC FUNCTION &

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Manages Accounts Receivable including payment discrepancy resolution, allowances calculations and adjustments, cash applications, cashflow projections and variance analysis, chargebacks, corporate reporting and billing issues.
  • Manages PO issuances and tracking spending.
  • Manages and maintains Bills of Materials (BOM) and adjust accordingly.
  • Assists in cost accounting activities and forecasting/budgeting process.
  • Completes financial reporting and analysis information for Corporate.
  • Special projects, ad hoc request fielding, other various tasks as needed.
  • Supports Continual Improvement and TS16949 / ISO14001.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Assists in maintaining integrity of financial statements and internal control.
  • Assists in daily reporting requirements.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS/

QUALIFICATIONS:

                   

Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance with a minimum of three years experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive). Must be able to work in a team-orientated environment. Should be familiar with Windows environment computer software; word processing, database, spreadsheet, and presentation graphics.

Responsibilities:
The nurse working at the on-site medical facility is responsible for the following:

  • Provide general medical care and treatment to employees

  • Document pertinent patient information on all required forms/documents
