KCTCS Board of Regents Approves 2013-2014 Budget and Tuition

The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) Board of Regents approved a 2013-14 budget of $928,704,000 during its quarterly meeting today at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College’s Cumberland campus. The budget includes a 2.86 percent increase in tuition for in-state students. The board also adopted KCTCS President Michael B. McCall’s recommendations for a two percent salary increase for full-time faculty and staff.

North American Racing Academy graduate Aparna Das Battula has been selected to compete in the second running of the Prix Longines Future Racing Stars race on Sunday June 16th at the historic Chantilly racecourse in France.

Thirty-two of Kentucky's top college students were honored as members of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System's 2013 All-Academic Team during the 12th annual KCTCS Student Academic Achievement luncheon held Tuesday, May 21, at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington.

More than 2,400 non-traditional students attended the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) Adult Learner College Fairs this past April. All 16 KCTCS colleges across the state participated.
