Institutional Effectiveness:
Planning and Evaluation
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools - Commission on Colleges mandates that the institution engage in "ongoing, integrated, and institution-wide research-based planning and evaluation processes that incorporate a systematic review of programs and services that (a) results in continuing improvement, and (b) demonstrates that the institution is effectively accomplishing its mission" (Principles of Accreditation, p. 15). Each year the President meets with key faculty and staff to develop a set of college-wide goals that are intended to inform the development of individual unit plans. The college-wide plans are archived below. At the end of the academic year, the college produces an annual report that identifies significant outcomes resulting from this planning and evaluation process. The annual reports are also archived below. In addition, the planning and evaluation documents for each unit and academic program are archived below.
