Promotion and Tenure Process (Question & Answer)

This workshop is designed to assist faculty currently in the process of compiling a promotion review portfolio. An opportunity will be given for clarification of any areas related to submission of materials. All promotion candidates should bring at least one completed section such as external service or internal service for the past two years. Committee members will work with you to help you present your activities in the most effective manner. All interested faculty are invited to attend.

PD Listening Tour Open House

The System Office has established a new Office for Professional Development and Innovation to assist colleges with system wide Professional Development opportunities to bring KCTCS to a premier level for all faculty and staff. The new office consists of Jamie Justice, Esteva Caise Draggs and Paige Brooks Jeffiers. This academic year, they are visiting each college as a part of their Listening Tour to listen and discover what is needed, wanted and desired from Professional Development. Is your glass “half empty”? If so, you might benefit from this session. Join communication faculty members Roshun Radford and Beth Norton for some lighthearted fun and learn some techniques to help you reframe your thinking so you can see that your glass is “half full.”
This session will provide easy ways to add more smiles and fewer frowns to your workdays!
