When you become a Ready to Work participant, we help you:
- Assess career goals and choices
- Complete the Department of Community Based Services Verification forms (enrollment, employment, housing, income, etc.)
- Navigate the enrollment and financial aid process
- Connect with advisors, instructors and counselors
- Advocate for special assistance on- and off-campus
- Find help with your classes on- and off-campus
- Find a job on- or off-campus.
- Meet and network with peers
You may be able to earn up to $2500 per year through Work Study. Your Work Study income will not reduce your K-TAP check. We can also provide school supplies such as paper, pens, and calculators.
