The Ready to Work program promotes the success of Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (KTAP) recipients. We provide students with counseling, referrals, and access to resources to help them succeed in college, find employment, and become independent of public assistance. Participants are eligible for on- or off-campus work-study opportunities and may earn a salary, working no more than 20 hours per week. Work-study students are paid by the Ready to Work program; there is no cost to the participating employer. Completing a job application and an interview with potential employer are required.
Ready to Work is a partnership between the Kentucky Community and Technical College System and the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
